The captivating blend opens with a subtle caramelised hint, with the main essence of this masterpiece flowing through instantly - a bouquet of dark roses dressed with a graceful spicy infusion (including Persian Saffron and Arabic Henna).

Sweet juiciness from the honeyed notes is noticeable from the outset, pouring a delectable sensation into the aroma.

The tantalising display to the senses is enhanced by the introduction of fine woods - Dehn Al Oud and Sandalwood. With leathery nuances giving the touch of completion to this exquisite blend.

This extraordinary and commanding fragrance is delivered with a rather masculine profile.

How to Use:
Perfume oils are best applied in small quantities directly to the skin over pulse points i.e. wrists, neck, behind the ears, chest, inner elbow or behind the knees.

A strong saffron centric scent

A strong saffron centric scent with other supporting notes. Enjoyable to wear, especially in warm weather as that helps it to blossom and progress. Have not tried the first release so can't compare to it.

It is my first experience trying attar from Maison Anthony Marmin (MAM) perfumes. The performer behind this attar is Abdul karim Alfaransi. I've heard so much about his work so I decided to try one his best attar Baghdad 2. From the start, I can tell this attar is well blended. It starts with very nice saffron smell and spices notes. The roses and Oud notes are soft and not strong or animalic. The smell reminds me of old oriental attar, it is antique with nice modern touches. I ordered the .5 ml sample and I'm going to buy the 3 ml one. If you like oud and other oriental scents but you don't like very strong or animalic notes, this may be a good option for you.
