Bazaar captures the vibrant atmosphere of a traditional South Asian market. A sensory theatre - rosewater sellers standing beside sweet vendors next to flower stalls, incense threading through colourful vibrance of the bustling surrounding!

The Premium Hindi oud here is a backdrop, not a headline. Anchoring the composition with characteristic depth: earthy, resinous, and gently animalic at its edges, but remarkably smooth in the way only well-aged Hindi distillations can be. Its role is architectural - lending body and staying power to what blooms above it.

And what blooms above it is generous.

At the heart sits the perfumer's own Rooh Afza accord — a long-standing signature composition, rose-forward and syrupy-sweet in the manner of the beloved South Asian sharbat that inspired it. To this he added Gulkand, the traditional preserve of rose petals slow-steeped in sugar, bringing a jammy, candied rose character that differs meaningfully from the fresher floral you might expect. The distinction matters: this is rose as preservation and memory, not rose as garden.

Here is the inspiration described by the perfumer himself:

"The Rooh Afza attar (named after a well-known rose drink in South Asia) had been one of our long-standing signature oils, but something felt incomplete. For this iteration, I doused the Rooh Afza attar with our premium Hindi oud distillation and introduced a note of Gulkand  - a traditional rose based sweet preserve). The result: a significant transformation. A new attar in its own right. Complete!"

The effect across the full composition is of uncanny balance. Sweet without cloying. Floral without delicacy. The Hindi oud grounding the sweetness with earth and wood in this sheer nostalgic indulgence!

Opening: Syrupy rose, warm sugar, a breath of incense

This attar oil comes in 2.5g in traditional glass bottle with plastic dipstick. The full bottle comes in handcrafted mini wooden box, a unique collectors items in itself.
