Kephri-Ba

This is a joint project between Mellifluence and ScentsbySkanda under the name Anam Cara.

Kephri-Ba represents rebirth. It is a scent imbued with an eternal fire, glowing with red embered petals.

This is a floral blend, made to be the finest offering of precious flowers, spices and resins, 

With tuberose, gnidia, saffron, jasmine and white lotus, and an undercurrent of tolu balsam, styrax, guaiacwood and myrrh.

It has the aroma of a juicy, exotic floral, with a seductive, human quality underneath. Sweet resins mix with narcotic florals and agarwood, to make a reverent scent, filled with the fire of life.

Smelling from the applicator, Kephri-Ba has an exotic, red floral aroma, accompanied by sensual elements of warm resins and spices. Magnolia and elemi give a bright feel to the opening, which leads into deeper narcotic florals, oozing with a juicy, nectar rich scent. 

There is a smooth, powdery quality lurking underneath the florals, acting as a support, that infuses the flowers with a seductive quality.

This is a deep, juicy, textured scent, with a smooth almost balsamic base.

Smelling on the skin, Kephri-Ba opens with a sensual note of powdery, tuberose and warming waves of red champaca, supported with dusty base notes of tolu balsam, myrrh and benzoin. 

The vanilla in the top notes connect to these soft earthy tones in the base, giving Kephri-Ba a delicate sweetness. This has a skin-like quality, and an exotic floral radiance.

Orange flower brings some subtle contrast to the profile, with it’s juicy, almost animalic character, this is softened with red and white frangipani, which bring in creamy, complimentary floral elements that connect with the guaiacwood.
