429 Northwood Fervor

Northwood Fervor is scent based upon the Northern boreal forests. It has a Winter / Autumnal profile and centres around the aroma of Pine, Greenheart wood, Fir and Birch.

This is a woody, smoky and dry leafy Autumnal scent, with an uplifting forest atmosphere.

This was a customer request, but I really enjoyed the results, so decided to make a larger batch to offer.

Smelling from the applicator, Northwood Fervor opens with an uplifting atmospheric air of Siberian Fir and Northern Pines, with smoky notes of Birch and Cade. This attar really sets an atmosphere, it has the air of Autumn with the scent of dry hardwood and leaves mingling in the base.

There are some warming notes of Tobacco, Buddhawood, Beeswax and Myrrh that assist in the atmosphere of Northwood Fervor, these materials help add a warm, cosy undertone to the blend, and help project the dry wood and leaf elements.

Smelling on the skin, Northwood Fervor opens with an atmospheric smoky, woody aroma, followed by uplifting notes of Pine and Fir. The woody notes are warm and smell like fresh logs on a fire, they're enhanced with Khao Yai and Maroke Agarwood, which adds a complex twist to the structure and helps longevity.

There is a delicate sweetness that lurks in-between the notes too. The Fir Balsam and Canadian Dark Pine absolutes both share this natural sweet tree resin note. This sweetness also connects to the warmth of the Tobacco and Myrrh, making it feel like you're in a warm log cabin, protected from the harsher outside elements, a small wood fire is burning with some added pine resin for fuel.
