Wadjet-Ka

This is a joint project between Mellifluence and ScentsbySkanda under the name Anam Cara.

Wadjet-Ka represents life. It is a vibrant yet ancient smelling scent.

It is the aroma of life persisting. When civilizations have long passed, leaving their ruins, life takes over again, thriving, regardless of the passage of time. 

It has a bitter bite initially, akin to the aroma of breaking fresh branches, but this evolves into an ancient jungle landscape. It opens with bright notes of elemi and petitgrain, with deeper, complex notes slowly building in the background. It feels like a bright green neroli, tamed with jungle herbs and flowers. 

There is a creamy, floral wax note that sits underneath the bright green herbs and citrus, elusive at first, but it grows like the life of the jungle.

As the scent develops, it gains a golden hue in it's aroma, a richness, like sunlight beaming through the canopies, after around 10 minutes, the jungle feels like it is in full bloom. Warm, citrus infused florals of varying colours, emit their aromatic nectar into the atmosphere.

Sweeter osmanthus notes emerge as the scent passes 30 minutes, with waxy, sensual facets of lilac. 

The green notes sink into the florals, and transition into another phase of narcotic florals, backed by exotic jungle herbs. 

The dry down is a green tinted, sweet, floral serenade, like falling asleep among the flowers.
