438 Midori

Midori is a unique, green, floral, citrus scent, revolving around the scent of kewra, Mongolian deer musk, fingered citron and Tigerwood Oud.

This is minimal in materials, but very unique in it's profile.

The kewra has an interesting interaction with the deer musk, they both have a urine-like quality, and by uniting these materials, it causes the pissy facets to be pushed forward, giving the floral elements an more animalic quality.

This is shaped with copal blanco, sacra frankincense and Tigerwood oud to give it an incense foundation, and detailed with fingered citron and ruh khus, to give it atmospheric, citrus infused top notes.

Smelling from the bottle, Midori opens with a potent, musk infused, kewra scent. Bright,fresh notes of citrus and resins mingle with the pissy notes of Mongolian deer musk, making it feel like you're treading in a big cat's terrirtory.

This has an Indian feel to the style, like a wild jungle version of majmua, untamed and exotic.

On the skin, Midori begins as a deep, rich, citrus infused, resinous scent. Notes of old antique woods stir in the base, adding a dark, woody quality to the blend.

The floral elements fuse harmoniously with the copal and frankincense, making it difficult to tell which material is prodcing the vibrant notes.

Midori has an almost hypnotic quality to it, it is buzzing with energy, the synergy of materials here feel like they are all connected and working in unison. All notes feel present and in the same scale, like 8 notes played in unison on a piano, that hold a particular  feeling within their resonance.
