Voches is a gourmand attar with notes of milk chocolate, Ugandan vanilla, iris butter and violet leaf in a base of  aged Thai agarwood and Mysore sandalwood.

This is a creamy, gourmand attar with a smooth velvety feel, the violet and iris create a powdery purple haze over deep chocolate rivers.

Smelling from the applicator, Voches has an addictive, almost edible feel. It has a dreamy, smooth wave of chocolaty iris, creamy high notes tinted with violet and powdery notes of iris butter.

The Ugandan vanilla adds a calming, earthy sweetness to the blend, but something hidden creates a gritty pull and push effect, making it feel subtly musky and dirty, in contrast to the harmonious  main notes.

On the skin, Voches opens with a lush, smooth iris infused milk chocolate scent, creamy and slightly powdery, with an inviting sweet vanilla note.

It has a somewhat ghostly feel on the skin, appearing light and ethereal at times, then suddenly becoming more bold and radiant. This will lessen with time as attars go through stages of maturity. Freshly made blends tend to feel a little unbalanced initially, then after a week or 2 it usually becomes more stable, then again after many months it may feel more cohesive. It can take up to 5 years fr many attars to reach their peak maturity, as these are made to last, with materials that get better with age rather than notes fall apart after a year.

I made an agarwood absolute I diluted with ambergris tincture to make it workable. This has served as an amazing base to several recent projects, but it really shines here in Voches, the labdanum-like notes work harmoniously with the chocolate and liatrix, creating a fuzzy warm, resinous base that smells like melted milk chocolate, with a delicate dark berry element.
